Your impact is ensuring future generations can enjoy Ewing Manor too
Ewing Manor was gifted to the ISU Foundation in 1969 upon
the death of Hazle Buck Ewing. This historic home and grounds are used as a
living laboratory for ISU students studying history, horticulture,
construction, theatre, and event planning to name a few.
Your gift will help support restoration
projects and educational activities of the Manor and gardens.
Help us reach our goal to complete the restoration of exterior windows and doors
Coming up to 100 years in 2028, this iconic home is a
treasure to the University and the community. Your gifts and other private gifts to the Foundation provide funding for restoration work.
The current project is the restoration of 104 exterior windows and
doors. To date, 84 have been completed. Help us reach our goal of completing
the remaining 20.
The remaining windows are in the tower and stable of the
Manor. Riding horses was an everyday occurrence when the Ewing family was in residence.
The stable is just as important to the Manor as the living room. Help us meet
our goal to complete the window restoration by donating to this worthwhile
project.
Your gift makes a difference in making sure Ewing Manor is available
for future generations to enjoy.
