Supporting Behavioral and Mental Health in Central Illinois
The Stanley S. Marzolf Center, located on the fourth floor
of Fairchild Hall, is a lifeline for children, adolescents, and college
students, on campus and serving the greater Central Illinois community.
Providing crucial services like assessments, intervention and counseling to
students and to the community is the mission of the Psychological Services
Center, as well as teaching and preparing future leaders in behavioral health.
We aim to provide these services to families at an
affordable rate, but we need your help and the support of the Redbird community
to keep our services easily accessible and affordable for everyone.
In Central IL, there are extensive waitlists for
psychoeducational evaluations, counseling services, and comprehensive autism
diagnostic services. Because of limited funding, the PSC can only provide a
certain number of services on a sliding scale. At times, this can be cost
prohibitive for families and college students.
Embrace the opportunity to be part of something meaningful by supporting the Department of Psychology's mission to raise $2,000 as part of the Birds Give Back campaign.
How will your dollars make an impact?

counseling session
- $210 covers the cost of 25 WISC
protocols and record forms
- $400 covers the cost of one semester of AICS services for one client
- $500 covers the cost of MDC
or CLAS
