HELP US RAISE $3000 FOR STUDENT RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES!
Illinois State University offers students opportunities for
hands-on, faculty-mentored research and innovation. To help students take
advantage of these opportunities, the Office of Student Research provides
financial support to students through the FIREbird, BirdFEEDER, and Pinion
Travel grant programs.
Our grants of $300 to $3000 support students across the
university like Grace Hohman, a biology major who studies the disease
Leishmaniasis, and hopes one day to be a physician; and Aleah Keating, majoring
in communication sciences and disorders, who researches swallowing disorders,
and Alex Clark (information technology) and Ryan Bredesen (businessadministration) who research cybersecurity.
YOU'VE BEEN CHALLENGED!
Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Craig McLauchlan, will match your donations dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $3,000.
With your gift, we
can meet his challenge and provide students with compensation, reimbursement of
research expenses, and funding to present their scholarship and creative work
at professional conferences and exhibits.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIVING
Your gift of any size will go directly to support current student research activities and conference travel.
Thank you for giving
