Help us to fund vital Cultural Dinner events for our residents!
For 36 years, University Housing Services has proudly hosted the Cultural Dinner Series, spotlighting its unique impact on the ISU community.
These dinners offer more than just a meal—they’re immersive
experiences where students explore diverse cuisines, learn about various
cultures, connect with peers, and discover meaningful ways to get involved on
campus.

Vania Chevez-Medina, student at ISU, recently shared “The cultural dinners held at ISU give students a sense of community and belonging. Coming from a diverse cultural background, seeing my cultural roots represented at my school is very important. For many of us first-generation students, our motivation comes from being involved at school and seeing our identities reflected through these cultural dinners or other cultural events held on campus. The cultural dinners enrich the ISU community as it exposes students, staff, and faculty to new ideas that may be different than their own. Speaking at the cultural dinner allowed me to connect with others around me and reflect on the value of being represented and celebrating my cultural roots.”
