More ways to support Milner Library
A gift to Milner directly supports all students

Thousands of students use Milner Library each day. They rely on us for resources, instruction, and support as well as for accessible, comfortable places to study, learn, and collaborate. Milner also works hard to keep pace with the technology needs of our students with printing, copying, scanning, and our MakeIt@Milner maker resources such as 3-D printing. Additionally, Special Collections and University Archives excel at preserving history and rare items so that our students have hands on experience with our unique resources, learning to use them in their research.

A gift to Milner Library is one way to impact all students. With your help, we can continue to be campus hub supporting student success, research, and instruction while continuing the proud tradition of service started by our namesake and the University’s first librarian, Ange V. Milner.

Doris Grube Zeck Library Outreach Fund - Established in 2018 by Milner Library Dean Emeritus Dr. Shari Zeck, this fund supports library outreach activities including exhibit-related costs, receptions, speakers, and also the DC Internship program.

Milner Library Fund - Supporting the general operating needs of Milner, this fund helps the library continue to be an active partner in teaching, learning, and service activities at Illinois State University.

Rayfield Dallinger Fund to Support University History - This fund provides financial assistance to support the preservation of University history at the Jo Ann Rayfield University Archives. This fund helps support the collection and preservation of materials, promotes research on University history, and helps disseminate historical information.

Special Collections Fund - Established in 2015, this fund helps acquire and preserve the unique items in our Special and Rare & Fine Collections.

Student Success Center Fund - This fund was started in 2019 to help equip, maintain, and enhance the Student Success Center. Located on the first floor of Milner Library, the Student Success Center will serve as an innovative campus hub for learning, research, and technology.
