Biology Excellence Fund - Provides support for any official business of the School of Biological Sciences. This fund supports the school’s mission of educating future generations of students about the importance and satisfaction of studying biology, while remaining committed to the highest standards of academic excellence.
Borst Memorial for Undergraduate Research - This fund was established in 2011 to provide scholarships for academically outstanding undergraduate students in the School of Biological Sciences, who are pursuing research projects supervised by faculty in the School of Biological Sciences. These scholarships serve as a lasting memorial to the late Dr. David W. Borst Jr., a member of the faculty in Biological Sciences from 1985-2005, who was committed to training undergraduates in research in the Biological Sciences.
Disease Control and Prevention - This fund supports the research areas for half of the School of Biological Sciences that focus on human disease.
Charlena Wallen Scholarship - This scholarship supports an undergraduate student with wages to perform research in a faculty's laboratory over the summer.
Wildlife Conservation Club - This fund supports the efforts of the Wildlife Conservation Club to raise awareness about issues including wildlife trafficking, the pet trade, and endangered species by sponsoring a variety of volunteer and fundraising opportunities for ISU students.
