Brandon Thornton '11 is matching, dollar-for-dollar, the first $750 in gifts made to the Center for Civic Engagement.
During this year of national spotlight on social justice, democracy, and student activism, we have been doing a great deal of listening to our faculty, staff, and students, all who inform our civic engagement programming.
What's resulted is a series of programs for students, faculty/staff, and members of the local community, where together we all learn how to have important conversations on difficult and complex topics.
Today, your gift to the Center for Civic Engagement will help us grow our civic education programming such as the new Exploring Wicked Problems Series and Deliberative Dialogues. Your gift will also help us to strengthen existing, high-impact opportunities for students such as our nationally recognized Alternative Breaks program.
Your gift helps us promote the lifelong learning and development of students as active community members.
