The Graduate School

The Graduate School, home to over 2,600 graduate students at Illinois State, helps students as they navigate through grad school. We recognize students by hosting competitions and events like  GradBird Scholar, Professional Development Workshops, Three Minute Thesis,  University Research Symposium, and more.

Our student organizations, Graduate Student Association, Black Graduate Student Association, and Latine Graduate Student Association can’t host events without your support. Gifts from donors like you contribute to providing graduate students with opportunities for social and professional development.

$50 – An application fee for a graduate student 

$100 – One monthly award for the next GradBird Scholar recipient

$150 – Graduate Student Association or Black Graduate Student Association student event on campus
