As the newest addition to Illinois State University's academic landscape, the College of Engineering is on a mission to set new standards in engineering education. Our vision is to become nationally recognized as a leader in engineering education by fostering a supportive environment that equips students from diverse backgrounds with the skills they need to thrive in their careers.

With our inaugural class set to begin their journey in the fall of 2025 and our first graduation ceremony planned for the spring of 2029, we are laying the foundation for a bright future. Our biggest desire is centered around preparing students to be career-ready through applied research, project-based learning, and a focus on societal impact.
