Help us engage student learning!
According to both the
Association of American Colleges & Universities (AACU) and the National
Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), student research and study abroad
experiences are highly impactful educational practices and provide incomparable
opportunities to blend classroom and co-curricular learning and skill
development for students.
Students are more engaged and consistently report research
and travel as opportunities that impact career readiness and success.
In the Department of Health Sciences, we aspire to be “an
extraordinary learning community” and believe that student research and travel
opportunities help us accomplish that vision. We have a goal to bring in 150
gifts to support students at academic conferences and professional networking
events and to offer students opportunities to travel abroad who currently do
not have the resources to do so.
Thank you!
